WTC Relief Acupuncture Treatments Continue

Professional Acupuncture Response Team
PART's primary mission is to aid in the provision of professional acupuncture and Asian bodywork treatments to emergency and disaster relief workers, victims and their families, and to provide clinical and organizational guidelines for local PART coordinators and practitioners.

Secondarily, PART aims to facilitate public awareness of the benefits of acupuncture and Asian bodywork therapies by providing information to organizations that may utilize our services.

For further information on P.A.R.T., please contact us at info@nypart.org As you know, PART is ongoing in its activities and the latest one is a large effort to organize all LAc's in NY to offer complimentary treatment to people who continue to work at Ground Zero. Many members of FDNY, etc. have developed what is now called the "WTC cough". We have begun to put together a list of practitioners who can offer treatment free of charge and will circulate this list to the hundreds of volunteers and city employees over the next two weeks. If you are able to participate, please forward your name, office address and contact information and what days would be available. Please include whether you practice herbs in your practice as well. You can send the information to partvolunteer@yahoo.com , or fax it 201-386-1766. We will be sending a mailing out to all practitioners in the State, but to get things rolling, we are contacting everyone who volunteered at the Javits Center. Feel free to pass this information on. I look forward to hearing from all of you! Hope everyone is well.

Yours,

Kathy Taromina
